The night of December the 16th we invite you to join us in supporting emerging photographers from the New York area in a silent auction. "Gift Horse" will be on view one night only, Wednesday from 7-10pm. United Bamboo and Charlie Horse are jointly hosting the fundraiser for Charlie Horse Reach and KittyKind. Available at the gallery will be the limited edition 2010 United Bamboo calendars, as well as original prints from the calendar by photographer Noah Sheldon. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to KittyKind, a New York not-for-profit, no kill, all volunteer cat rescue and adoption group.

Charlie Horse Reach is a new project, stemming from Charlie Horse Gallery, that seeks out and sponsors talented South African artists who struggle to produce and exhibited their artwork. "Gift Horse" is an occasion for local New York artists and collectors to support global talent that is underrepresented in today’s art world. A portion of the proceeds from "Gift Horse" will be donated to this growing project.
